Non-Profit Charity Raising Money for Familes of Fallen Lawe Enforcement Officers in Georgia
Every day those in law enforcement risk their lives to protect us. Tragic events in the past few years have made us all more aware of the sacrifices that we ask these men and women to make. When tragedy strikes and we need them, they respond and, without a second thought put their lives on the line for us.
In 1999 Care for Cops, a non-profit charitable organization (501c3) was founded. Through Care for Cops citizens share their resources to help officers families in times of great need in their first hours and days facing one of the greatest losses in their life. Care for Cops bridges the gap for them financially, offering assistance and support as they wait for much needed insurance disbursements.
Care for Cops hosts a charity golf classic each year to celebrate the great work of Georgia law enforcement officers and prepares for times when their familes will need us to care for them.
